MERIC hosts quarterly educational seminars which are organized by affiliated
physicians. These events address a variety of patient issues and have
varying audiences. Some events are directed at medical professionals,
such as physicians, nurses, therapists and trainers. Health screenings
and educational seminars are readily available to the public. Private
sponsors and medically affiliated organizations may use MERIC in order
to conduct their own educational seminars and training sessions.Collaborative
efforts for educational seminars are also being planned with organizations
such as the Osteoarthritis Association of Colorado, the University Colorado
at Colorado Springs, the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center
in Denver, the United States Olympic Training Center, and local area
hospitals and regional orthopedic and pain management associations.
Nationally
accredited fellowship programs will be available to qualified medical
personnel. They will be supervised by orthopedists and other physicians
affiliated with MERIC.
