Biomechanical Research Engineer

Anjana is the Biomechanical Research Engineer  at MERIC since January 2007.  With a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kans,as she is handling multiple projects and areas of research.  Anjana holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India as well as a major in Indian Carnatic music from Andhra University in Visakhapatnam.  Her main focus at MERIC is musculoskeletal biomechanics research, but she also assists with computational modeling and clinical studies.  Anjana runs the biomechanics laboratory, which is equipped with a servo-hydraulic mechanical testing machine to perform specialized tests and collect pertinent data.
